The neuron isn’t looking for any particular semantic content so much as for the first “content” word in a new clause or sentence—i.e. it lights up on tokens like “With,” “You,” “This,” “Among,” “Best,” etc., when they occur right after a break (parenthesis, comma, period) as the clause‐initial word.
