The neuron is triggered by unusual or “non-standard” tokens—things like the Japanese verb いう, foreign words in other scripts (e.g. Russian такой), standalone error or heading markers (e.g. エラー), and long runs of punctuation (e.g. lines of “===”)—i.e. tokens that stand out as foreign-language words or formatting separators.
